Nissan Frontier Pro4x 2024
For Nissan Brazil, ÍCON Design produced two full CGI films of 30 seconds each for the Frontier Pro4X — the most extreme version of the pickup truck. The entire production, from modeling to final render, was developed in CGI, enabling full creative control over environments, lighting, and camera movements that would be impossible to achieve in a conventional production. The result is a pair of cinematic films that accurately capture the off-road character and aggressive personality of the Pro4X.

One of the project's key technical highlights was the ground smoke simulation developed entirely in 3D. All the mist and dust kicked up by the Frontier Pro4X in the off-road sequences were created through volumetric fluid simulations, with no filmed elements or stock footage involved. This approach allowed precise control over the behavior, density, and lighting of the smoke, ensuring seamless integration with the CGI environment and delivering scenes with cinematic realism and a distinctive visual identity.
